Frequently Asked Questions
For founders, operators, and partners considering an introduction.
What does AJG Venture Group invest in?
AJG deploys its own capital across startups, small businesses, software, AI, fintech, biotechnology, and select real estate and media opportunities. We focus on situations where disciplined execution and hands-on support can unlock meaningful growth and attractive exits.
Do you invest your own capital?
Yes. AJG operates on an own-capital mandate — we invest the firm's capital rather than managing outside funds. That keeps us selective, fast, and aligned for the long term.
What kinds of businesses are the best fit?
High-potential startups and founder-led operating businesses with demonstrated traction, scalable models, and credible leadership. In real estate and media, we look for situations where timing, structure, or access creates asymmetric upside.
What do you provide beyond capital?
We operate as both investor and strategic partner. Depending on the situation, that includes strategy, brand-driven marketing, digital and performance management, and the reporting and operating systems businesses need to scale and become exit-ready.
How do I submit an opportunity?
Email contact@ajgventuregroup.com with a concise overview. The most useful first message includes: what the business does, traction and headline financials, the team, how much capital you are seeking, and how it will be used. A deck or one-pager attachment is welcome.
Please note that unsolicited submissions are not received in confidence — see our Terms of Use.
How quickly will I hear back?
We review inbound opportunities on a rolling basis and respond when there is a potential fit. Because we are deliberately selective, we cannot reply in detail to every submission.
Where do you invest?
Primarily in U.S.-based businesses and assets, and we remain open to select opportunities elsewhere when the fit is right.
Do you partner with other investors or firms?
Yes — we are structured to stay flexible and can invest alongside other capital or operating partners where it strengthens the outcome.
